Lisa Turner, Allied ASID and founder of Interior Obsession, brings over two decades of creative Interior Design and Management expertise to her firm and clients. Her philosophy is a love of color and respect for Architecture. The dominant factor in her approach is to achieve the highest level of quality within budget and project scope, while expressing a sense of style that is both unique and appropriate to the project and its environment.

Project designs are by the Company Principal with hands-on involvement at all project stages, from concept to installation. The skill and talent of the Interior Obsession team consists of highly qualified Los Angeles Luxury Interior Designers, talented Architectural Modern Interior Designers, a full-service Ordering and Tracking Department and an experienced Real Estate Sales and Marketing Department.

A lover of music, dance, and art, Lisa’s knowledge and expertise is unparalleled. Her firm Interior Obsession launched in 1989 from her love of design has forged its own signature style and legacy.

Interior Obsession is an award winning design firm based in Beverly Hills and renowned for a luxe beauty, welcoming livable appeal, and attention detail. With over three decades as a full service interior Design Studio, specializing in Luxury Residential Design and Commercial Design. Her firm’s success above all, stems from long lasting and valued relationships with its clients. Lisa’s signature style and breadth of projects span the country in new construction homes, pied à terres, well known music studios, and more. Lisa is a sought after speaker and mentor with her years of experience to impart on the design community.

An LA native she started loving the arts at a very young age. Lisa was crowned Miss US Talented Teen of California and was a dancer on Soul Train in her teens. Very early on she honed in on her artistic talents and was always crafty, known as the DIY kid, before DIY was popular.

Lisa began perfecting her skills as she began decorating the homes of her friends and family. Later on receiving her degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design (FIDM). In additional to being an exceptional Interior Designer, she is also an accomplished Realtor and Product Designer, with her latest collection in conjunction with BADG x Pottery Barn Launched in Winter 2022.

A pioneer in the world of design, Lisa formed the first black interior design organization, “The Society of African American Interior Designers” in the early 90’s, along with Beverly Miller, setting out to find people of color in the industry, with a goal of making their names known. Named Top 20 Black Interior Designers and featured in Bravo Top Designer. Lisa is a current and active member of BADG (Black Artists + Designers Guild) since its inception in 2018. Lisa is married, a mom to two young men and adorable standard poodle name Tai, and her true loves, her grandchildren, think she is a Rockstar. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, music, dance and yoga. “I love what I do and don’t like to focus on the trend or style. I love exploring new ideals that bring uniqueness to each project and I pay attention to delivering a flawless product, that is truly a reflection of my clients. “Your life is my inspiration”.
